Have you actually seen Crash yet? I watched it with my wife long before it was on the Oscar radar screen. Throught it was a great movie, but towards the end I felt like someone had beat me over the head with a "don't judge a book by its cover" bat. Even so, I recommended it to everyone I met.
I haven't seen Crash, yet; although I do have a hold on the library's copy. I wish I would have seen it before I read some of the post-Oscar commentaries comparing it to Brokeback Mountain. Thanks for the recommendation!
